A release from Denver's Department of Excise and Licenses shows which city neighborhoods are too full of marijuana businesses. Denver’s marijuana licensing program has tried to protect the areas with the heaviest concentration of marijuana stores and cultivation facilities from oversaturation and publishes a new list yearly. No new stores or cultivation centers can open in these neighborhoods or transfer into them while their names are on the list. Several students in Miami were celebrated for doing the right thing.City of Miami Police rewarded 10 students for serving their community at a ceremony held at Chief Clarence Dickson Police College, Thursday morning.Among those honored as part of the Do The Right Thing program was Natalia Pomares, a fourth grader at Bowman Ashe/Doolin K-8 Academy in Southwest Miami-Dade.Officials with Do The Right Thing said Pomares knew what to do during a dangerous situation.“Recently, she stepped up and did the right thing by reporting an incident where a student had brought a knife to school,” said an announcer at the ceremony. “She immediately knew she needed to speak up and tell an adult. Davenport, Iowa (CNN) — Two people who were previously unaccounted for after the partial collapse of an Iowa apartment building Sunday have been found safe, Davenport police said Thursday. But three others who lived in the crash zone remain missing.Rescuers have been trying to find Branden Colvin Sr., Ryan Hitchcock and Daniel Prien, whose apartments were in the massive section of the building that disintegrated, police said.Now, as families agonize and wait, city officials are grappling with how to proceed.If rescuers try to re-enter, the rest of the building could topple and crush them.“It’s dangerous, and it’s shifting,” Mayor Mike Matson said Thursday.But plans to demolish the Davenport building – originally scheduled for Tuesday morning – are now on hold.“We’re not anywhere near doing that right now,” the mayor said. “We are working on a timeline.
